After the summer holidays, we are back with renewed energy! In August, we completed the first phase of our project, including the submission of the monitoring report. We are now eagerly awaiting feedback from the steering committee regarding goal achievement and approval of the expenses incurred so far. I can confidently say that we did our best during the first eight months of the project.
With the start of the second phase, there have been some changes in the team. We said goodbye to Michal, who decided to switch from his position as a technician in the plasma lab to a teaching career at a primary school. Our webmaster, Adéla, also decided to fully commit to the demanding profession of teaching. We wish them both success in their new careers and thank them for their great collaboration.
Světlana, our networking expert and key contact with industrial partners, has also officially left the project. Thanks to her, we established several significant partnerships, and we are deeply grateful for that. Although Světlana will be working on other projects, we can turn to her for help whenever needed.
Our team for the next phase has been strengthened by Lukáš, Věra, Kateřina, and Zuzana. Lukáš, whom you may have seen mentioned in our previous posts, now officially holds the position of art methodologist, He is working with Honza to prepare upcoming exhibitions. Věra, a student of the private AMBIS College in Brno, has become our online marketing specialist. Kateřina and Zuzana, textile designers from the Department of Design at the Textile Faculty of TUL, have joined the project with ambitious plans for the next two phases.
After a summer break and some well-deserved rest, we are ready to continue with fresh ideas. One of the first is the "Bubble play" project, an idea from our German partners from Chemnitz. We were excited by this concept and have jointly implemented it through activities for children from Zittau.
Now the second phase of the project begins, full of workshops, exhibitions, lectures and preparations for the fashion show. I think you have something to look forward to. Keep your fingers crossed for us to be able to realize all the planned events!
